Today, I'm going to download a Solidworks file, so selecting upload, drag and drop the Solidworks part and assembly files, selecting upload, download complete; let's now select close. And head over to our newly imported Solidworks file, selecting this, right click and select open. Let me minimize our data panel. Just to add, this Solidworks file came from Justin Flett's "Solidworks Design for Mechatronics." Moving back to Fusion 360, notice sometimes when we import CAD files into Fusion 360, the default orientation of the imported files is a bit off, so here, I prefer whenever I head to home view, the orientation of this assembly should be at this position. To have this view, or orientation, to be the default home view, all we need to do is I'm going to double click my middle mouse to zoom extents,…
