Reusing components

- [Male Narrator] I mentioned, previously, that a sketch can be reused in any of Fusion 360's components. What I didn't mention is that a sketch can be reused for other purposes as well. If I turn on the sketch that was used to create the pattern of slots in the side component, I can use it for patterning components in general. What I'd like to do is create a pattern, a pattern on path, of components. I'll select the wedge and the slat, and then select that original sketch for the path, remembering that I had originally gone 51 inches with seven instances that used the path direction for the orientation. A very complex set of patterning was done very quickly. I'll turn the sketch off, go to the Create menu again, and go to the Mirror tool, tell it that I would like to mirror components, select the wedges either from the browser or directly from the screen, and then select the side. For the mirror plane, I need to look for the slat component in the browser, expand the origin, entities,…
