- [Instructor] Hi everyone and welcome to another fusion 360 tips, tricks and techniques. Have you had this experience? I'm going to create a division symbol, hitting R for rectangle, creating a rectangle here, creating a circle here. In addition, notice my units is currently in millimeters. And if you have your grid set up, you may have an idea on what the ballpark dimension of your geometry is. Let's grab our dimension and notice it is currently somewhere around 20 millimeters. What if this needs to be 20 meters, M denoting for meter, I'm going to hit Enter and notice our whole geometry and design now becomes unproportional. With this in mind, we can avoid irregularities when adding your first dimension to your sketch. And we can do that by heading over to preferences.
