- [Instructor] So now let's talk about composite simulation. Now, when we're designing something for composites, we're always looking at that surface finish of the part, and in our case on this push bike, we are building from the outer surface in to build our actual composite part. So what we have here is the actual surface of the push bike. So now this is in SpaceClaim, we went ahead and exported the fusion file as a step file and then brought that into SpaceClaim, and once we brought this into SpaceClaim, we were able to kind of clean up some of the surface imperfections that happened in the transfer. Usually what happens is you get these artifacting on the surfaces between each face, and that was simply fixed with the stitch tool within SpaceClaim, and got it all set up, made sure everything is nice, and you can see here, it's just a full body, we even included the races for the bearings, and this is going to be used…
