- [Instructor] So now that we have all of our composite layers done we can go ahead and turn it into a solid model. Now we're just going to use a tool right here in ANSYS composite prep post, and we're going to just create a solid model and we're going to do it so that we build the model at a per layer accuracy. So we have each layer modeled in, and that's going to allow us to have a little bit more information available to us in ANSYS mechanical for the simulation. So let's go ahead and jump over to workbench and take a look at that and see how we can move our information over to ANSYS mechanical. Now that we're in workbench we can take the information that we got from ACP and move that over to ANSYS mechanical under a structural static load. So we can do that here.
