Simulating an operation
- [Instructor] Now that we have our first operation complete, it's time to look at one of the most helpful pieces of technology in this software. And that's the ability to simulate your operations before you actually cut this out on your machine. Now right now, I have the base plate selected and if I were to select simulate here from the action menu, I would simulate all of the operations. And in this case, it's just one. But if there were a bunch of them it would simulate all of them. So you could also select a specific operation and in this case that's what we're going to do is we're going to select the 2D pocket and look at what it looks like. So we can start the simulation here on the action panel. By clicking simulate, you'll see a new dialog box come up and this is the basic set up of what you want to see while the simulation is running, what you want displayed.
