- [Instructor] We have here a cube with a decal on this face, letter A and at the back, letter B. Heading to home view, the challenge is, without using orbit, our intent is to create another cylinder on the B surface. Now in order for us to create that cylinder, we need to select the surface on which the B decal is currently residing. Notice as I hover over this face, it is highlighted, and when I left-click, definitely this one will be selected. Same here. Obviously, these two faces are blocking us from selecting face B. Whenever there's nested items, the workaround for that is hovering over your target selection and holding the left mouse button. From here, a drop down will appear, giving us the option to select the nested items in order. So hovering over face. And from here, obviously our target is this face, which is currently highlighted. Left-click. Target face now selected. I can now hit C for circle.…
