Stress analysis and simulation for your designs

- [Thom] Over the past 25 years, finite element analysis and other types of simulation have become more and more a common part of the design process. The simulation tools built into Fusion 360 offer an incredibly broad variety of options whether you're studying just the basic stress and strain of a load on a component or how heat will affect the shape of individual components inside a design. On top of the variety of types of simulation that can be run in Fusion 360 is the ability to run some of the simulations locally on your machine and the ability to run other simulations on the cloud allowing you to run incredibly complex simulations of your designs on modest hardware. You can also run multiple studies at the same time both locally and on the cloud. So you can do parallel analysis of the concepts. In this course, we'll focus on the high level of the tools that are available to you in Fusion 360. The fundamental concepts of simulation and how they would be applied to your tools are going to require your knowledge. With all of that in mind, let's get ready to have some fun with Fusion 360, simulation.
