- Now that we've gone ahead and created a sketch for the cross-section of the down tube, let's go ahead and turn this into a 3D object. Let's go ahead and turn on the original sketch for the bicycle frame that we've created in Chapter One. And let's go ahead and zoom out and take a look at what we have. So we have this profile of the down tube that we made, and this is the path that the tube is supposed to follow. So let's go ahead and use the sweep tool. Now this is one of my favorite tools. You get to pick a profile. So we're going to select these two profiles that we created, and then we get to select the path. Now the path is that down tube line that we created. We created that line using a spline, and now we get this really cool shape that we got. Now you can create this to any length you want.
