Tracing the bottle
- [Instructor] Our canvas is in the x-y plane, so let's also sketch on that plane, heading up selecting Sketch, selecting our x-y plane. Our strategy here is to initially create the items with dimensions. So first I'm going to hit L for line. This creates the vertical line here at the middle, so left click at the origin. I'm going to key in 241.5, hit Enter. Next, let's re-grab this line, make this vertical by right clicking, selecting Horizontal/Vertical. Grab our line once more, and because this is a reference entity, let's make this as a construction line, hitting X for a Construction. Hit L once more for line. Let's create the line here. Zooming in, left click, moving down, zooming in, left click, hitting Escape. Hitting D for dimensions, select this endpoint and our origin.
