Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] If you have access to the Exercise Files, the folders are laid out in this manner. The first two digits corresponds to the chapter and the next two digits corresponds to the video lesson number. So here we have chapter two, lesson 01. Let's drill into 02-01 folder. So here we have a Fusion 360 file. Now take note that the file extension of Fusion 360 saved locally is .f3d. To open this file in Fusion 360, simply head up and select New Design From File, drill in to where the file was saved, and select 02-01 End, and select Open. In this course, we will also utilize cloud rendering. In order to perform cloud renders, we have to save our files in the cloud. To do that, we'll simply need to head up and select Save, and point it to your desired location. For demonstration purposes, let's name this as Exercise1. Notice as we hit Save, this tab will update to the name corresponding to Exercise1. If this happened, we now have a clear indication that the file is now saved in the cloud. Let's close Exercise1. To reopen any file that you have saved in the cloud, simply head up to Data panel. Let's say we want to open Exercise1. To open this, we can simply right click and select Open. Another method of uploading our files in the cloud is selecting Upload, locate the files you want to be saved, and simply drag and drop them here, and select Upload. If you don't have access to the exercise files, the course was laid out in a manner that everyone can easily follow along. See you in the next video, and let's get started.
