- [Narrator] Hi everyone, and welcome to another Fusion 360 tips, tricks, and techniques. We have here an assembly ready to be applied with joints. Our first objective here is to have this slider slide into our base. Let's grab our joint command selecting capture position. Notice if I select this component reference, I also need a component reference that would be at this position. And at this instance, notice obviously there's no component reference available on our base. I'm going to hit Cancel and head out to our sketches folder. I'm going to turn on the visibility of sketch2, so here I have a sketch that is lying on this plane. We can utilize this sketch to our joints' advantage. So, notice if I hit J which is the shortcut for a joint and enable component 2, notice I am having a component reference available on this line.
