- [Instructor] Now that we have shelled out to my component, let's take a look at adding some webs or ribs to this component to help add some structural strength. And we'll see that the web tool works a little bit differently than other tools we might be used to, but it may be somewhat similar to a thin extrusion. So first let's create the plane that we'd like to sketch our webs onto. So I could just use this face here to sketch on if we'd like our web or our ribs to come all the way up to that surface there. However, in a lot of cases ribs or webs, don't come all the way up the park and it might only come up a portion of the park. So in this case, we might want to create a construction plane. So I'll go create a construction plane. Let's do an offset plane here, and I want offset from this face here. Let's say a distance of five millimeters and you go negative five millimeters.
