- [Instructor] Printing from Gimp is a straightforward process and you can go about it the same way you would with most other applications. When you want to print a file just press Control + P or Command + P or go to the File menu and choose Print. This opens a print dialog box with several tabs and the specific options available in the dialog box will depend on your operating system and the printer that you're connected to. For example, if you're using a Mac the Page Setup command may appear here in the print dialog box. In Windows it might appear in the File menu in Gimp. Once aspect of the print dialog on both Mac and Windows is this tab, Image Settings. Here you can control the size of the printed image, its resolution, and its position on the paper. And there's a preview here so if you make changes to these settings you can see what the effects will be on your print job. So if I reduce the size, or increase it, you can see the preview update.
