Restore erased pixels
- [Instructor] One of the ways to blend content from different layers in Gimp is to use the eraser tool to remove pixels from the top most layer. This only works when the layer being erased has an Alpha Channel to allow transparency. To add an Alpha Channel, right-click on the Layer and choose Add Alpha Channel. Then take the Eraser tool. Choose a brush and size. And drag to erase pixels and blend the two layers. If you go too far, hold the Option key on Mac or Alt on Windows and drag to restore erased pixels.
