- [Instructor] In the game industry, and particularly on game teams, we discuss games in terms of systems. If we made a list of every system in existence it would go on for a long, long while. I've worked on such unique systems as a crowd system which controlled how the crowd responded to your actions and in turn affected how you performed, and I've worked on a camera system which literally determined how well you took pictures in the game. While those systems aren't particularly common, there are some common systems we regularly encounter when developing video games. In this video, we'll take a look at a few of those systems, why they exist, and some of their common properties. So, what are the common systems in games? Well there's the character system.
