- [Instructor] There are three types of core documentation as far as game design is concerned. The game pitch, the game proposal, and the game design document. The game pitch provides an overview of the game, its key pillars, features, hook, look and experience. It is written for two reasons, to provide publishers or investors with an overview of the game, and to get those same individuals more interested in providing money to publish the same. The game proposal is the response to the statement, "We'd like to hear more about this game." in general, you may need to prepare a proposal when you've shared your pitch document with the prospective publisher or investor or if you're in school, your professor. You've gotten the green light to go to the next stage, which is a full game proposal. We'll go over game proposals in this video.
