Add loops to your project and customize them
- [Instructor] All right, so now let's start building a song using loops. Now I think in most situations, you'll be using loops to add to a song in which you'll also be playing an instrument or singing. But it's also quite possible to build a song entirely from pre-recorded loops, which is what we'll be trying to do here. So first let's create a new empty project. And since we have to choose a type of track, I'll just choose software instrument, and I'll close the musical typing window, and I'll close the library and smart controls and open up the loop browser. While I'm at it I'm also gonna turn off the metronome 'cause we won't really need that here. All right so as a general rule, most recording artists start the process by recording the song's rhythm tracks first. In most pop or rock recordings usually goes drums followed by bass, then guitars, then lead guitars and then vocals. Of course it's totally up to you to decide the order in which you create your song. But I'm gonna start…
