- [Garrick] Apple GarageBand is the powerful recording, editing, and mixing tool that comes free on all new Macs. Most professional-level audio editing workstations have a steep learning curve, and you might spend more time learning the software than working on your music, which can be a problem when inspiration strikes and you want to get your musical ideas down as quickly and accurately as possible. GarageBand, on the other hand, is much quicker to learn and gives you everything you need in one complete package. Whether you're a musician in a band, a songwriter, or even if you're not musically inclined but need some music for a project you're working on, you'll find GarageBand extremely easy to use. I'm Garrick Chow, and in this course, I'm going to cover the basic knowledge and skills you'll need to have under your belt in order to use this surprisingly powerful and fun digital audio editing application.
