Customize the bass sound
- [Instructor] If you're a bass player you'll be happy to know that GarageBand includes a full selection of bass amp emulators and you won't have to try to get bass sounds through one of the guitar amps. For this example I'll continue working with the project I was working with earlier. And, like working with guitar amps you can change the bass sounds before, during, or after recording the track. So, although I'm using the bass track I already recorded for simplicity sake here, you can play around with the sounds before you record your own bass tracks. So, I'm gonna select and solo the bass track here. Now, looking over at the Library I can see there are three bass categories. We have Clean Bass, Crunch, and Experimental Bass. So, we have several bass patches we can choose from here to create our bass sound. I'm gonna click Play and play around with some of these sounds.
