Transpose loops
- [Instructor] As I've mentioned a few times already, one of the greatest advantages of working with loops is that you can change the tempo, key, and the time signature of your song, even after you've laid down several tracks. And most likely you won't be changing the time signature too often, which can create weird effects when you for instance, drag loops that are meant to be played in three four, into what was previously a four four song. But you may find yourself tweaking the key or the tempo of the song occasionally. If your song is made entirely out of loops like this one, changing the key and the tempo are not a problem. The same thing goes even if you have some recorded software instruments you play. But you can even transpose and change the tempo of recorded real instruments in GarageBand, although you don't wanna stray too far from the recorded tempo and key of the song when changing recorded instruments.
