- [Grant] Normally these next steps videos tidy up the course and point you in the next direction. I think this course is unique in that you may have more questions than when you started. If that's the case, then I encourage you to start using Git to manage any files that make sense. Use it for system configuration files, user files, source code files, web files, or even files that I have not thought of yet. Also, I encourage you to dip your toes into configuration management systems, these are a paradigm shift from how we used to manage hosts. I haven't weighed in on my preferences so I'll do that now. I have professionally managed Puppet, Salt, and Ansible. If I were to invest time now in learning any configuration management systems, I'd be happy with either Salt or Ansible. However, this does not mean your time will be wasted learning the others they are very popular and your efforts to learn them will not go unnoticed by employers.
