Find the course on GitHub

- [Instructor] The first step in using exercise files from LinkedIn that are stored in a GitHub repository is to find the repository that's associated with the course. I'm starting from the page for the course Learning Go that's on the LinkedIn Learning website. Courses that have associated GitHub repos should display this Exercise Files button on the right side of the screen. There are situations where that button won't be visible. For example, if I zoom into this page a bit, the buttons seem to disappear, but then I can scroll down and right down here I'm going to find the button. It's just adapting to the screen size. I'll return to that original display and the button will be restored to its original location. Once you find it, you can click that Get Files button and you'll jump directly to the repository. Now, if that doesn't work for any reason, you can also go to the page where all of the LinkedIn Learning exercise files GitHub repos are stored. You can find all those on the page, github.com/LinkedInLearning. Then click into Find a Repository and type part of the name. I'll type the name Learning Go, and there's the repository. I click the link and I'm taken to exactly the same place. Now notice, I'm logged in to GitHub right now, but I'm going to log out and then I'll come back to the course page and click the Get Files button again, and once again, I can see the repository. As long as the repository is public, you don't need to GitHub membership in order to download and use these exercise files.
