- [Narrator] The font view is an interactive map of your font. It lets you see every glyph in your project. It's where you add and subtract glyphs, and it's where you can make changes to groups of glyphs at a time. When you start a new glyphs file, the font view is the first window you see. It's automatically populated with 53 glyphs: upper and lowercase and a space. Glyphs are empty, but there's a ghost image of the letter and a small caption at the bottom of the cell. You can add a glyph by clicking the little plus sign down here at the bottom. Double-clicking on the caption allows you to edit the name. And the minus sign lets you get rid of the glyph. To add glyphs in a more systematic way, you can use the menus at the upper left. Most of the submenus contain buttons for adding glyphs to your project. Control-click on a button to reveal a menu. Then select the glyphs you want to add and click Generate. These menu items also act as filters that show subsets of your complete font…
