- Earlier in this course we talked about two different types of spam: ghost spam and crawler spam. We've set up a few filters so far, but crawler spam is especially hard to fight because it behaves, just like a browser, and it will still leave some spammy data in your analytics. These crawlers usually say they come from a certain website and they hope that you'll go and check out that website, which is usually some sort of spam. Since they look like browsers, the best thing we can do is use a list of known spam website and filter them out. So let's go ahead, go to our website. Go to "Admin". And "Filters". And we're going to add a new filter. Technically, we're going to add two because there are so many spammy websites that we're going to need a longer field. So let's call it "Crawler Spam 1".
