Using the street view on the iPhone

- If you have an iPhone or Android phone, then you have access to Google's Street View application, which gives you a cool way to browse Google Street View content. But the latest version also gives you a nice way of creating 360 content that can be pinned directly to the Street View map. I'm going to open up Street View here, on my iPhone. If you haven't played with this before, it pretty much works the way you would expect. You can zoom around a map here, and look at this kind of Street View content that you're used to seeing, I'm in explore mode here. But as I zoom in, I get these red dots. Those are VR movies that people have shot and pinned to these locations. And as I get near one, it pops up here, at the bottom of the screen. I can tap on it, and it takes me into my Street View mode here and gives me a full 360 view. Now what's cool, this is all user-created data. Google is not driving around, randomly shooting 360 videos. You can shoot your own and add them to the location…
