- [Narrator] The education achievement gap refers to the disparity in academic performance between different groups of students, with relation to grades, standardized test scores, dropout rates, college completion rates, among others. These groups of students can differ, but they might include higher-income students compared with lower-income students, native language speakers, compared with non-native language speakers, and learners with disabilities and those without disabilities and more.
