- [Instructor] So why is what we're describing, machine learning enabled system, better than it was before? Well, we're able to do a few things, including understanding what our core requirements are and how to leverage them. We're defining the existing state and the to-be state and the gap, or what needs to be changed. We're able to select the proper technology. In this case, cloud based AI technology, or machine learning. We can build the models, training it with the data that's on hand and we can deploy them in a production, either through a UI interface where we're leveraging the models directly, or probably more likely, we're leveraging them through some API, which has called for a remote application. We're able to operate the system, making sure we're able to have long term success. We're backing it up, we're updating it, we're keeping it healthy in order for it to serve our systems well.
