- [Narrator] The Internet of Thing is everywhere around us. IoT systems can be used in a manufacturing plant, for example, in an assembly line. Let's take the case of a factory that produces baked packaged food items. Sensors can manage things like the speed of conveyor belts, the temperature of ovens, the chemical consistency of batter, the weight of the finished product, and the packaged boxes. Another example of an IoT ecosystem is a greenhouse. Sensors can measure the amount of sunlight, temperature, humidity, soil moisture, soil acidity, and weight, color, texture and readiness of produce. Retrieving data from a single IoT device is simple enough, but in the scenarios above sensors can easily reach into the hundreds or thousands.
