- [Presenter] In Google Cloud, there is a mantra that access control happens by defining who has what access to which resources. This sentence is important to understand as it outlines concepts that lay the foundation for how users in services can access resources within your Cloud environment. Let's break each facet of this sentence down. The who and this mantra sentence refers to an identity which are associated with members in your Cloud environment. A member can be any number of things. It can be a Google account which I typically use for your end users, a service account which are used for application of virtual machines, a Google group for a group of end users or service account or a Google Workspace or Cloud Identity domain.
