The first best practice when it comes to getting started with cloud storage is regarding naming guidelines. There are a number of bucket and object naming guidelines that you should view in the Google Cloud documentation. But one of the most important ones to highlight is to not use user IDs, email addresses, project names, any personal identifiable information in your naming convention for your bucket or object.
