- [Instructor] Let's talk about the cost of running machine learning-based systems on Google Cloud Platform and other cloud platforms. So keep in mind you're paying for a few things that you may not know you're paying for. You have to deal with data storage and that requires that you're dealing with object layers, object storage, structured storage, databases, whatever that your machine learning system needs to persist information on the Google platform. Your ability to deal with Google Cloud Platform and the CPUs and GPUs are in essence the processing power to run your knowledge base, which is typically going to be high. These things are pretty process intensive and I/O intensive. And then, you have to take advantage of some sort of machine learning system that's on the cloud. For example, Vision or AI Hub or other services that they're able to provide, and leveraging those services, you have to pay it for yourselves.…
