- Operations is also a consideration and it's something that's often overlooked as people deploy machine-learning systems, especially in production and cloud-based systems, because they're assuming that the cloud provided themselves will operate their applications effectively. That's not the case. It's you hosting something on a platform that you, in essence, own, even though it doesn't physically exist within your data center. Operations and your duty to operate, very much the same. So we have to figure out how to do a few things, including ongoing security operations, or SecOps. The ability to do governance, or GovOps. The ability to operate and ensure that our databases and our storage systems are operating correctly.
