- [Instructor] So security is an important concept as related to machine learning on any cloud platform, but specific to Google Cloud platform, security needs to be paid attention to even more. Keep in mind that we're trying to build a system that adds a tremendous amount of value to the business and therefore, it can do a tremendous amount of damage if it's breached, so we have to be extra careful in how we secure these systems. Typically, the center of the universe within machine learning security is going to be a directory service. I mean, it could be an LDAP-compliant directory service, active directory, other systems where we're, in essence, registering humans and devices and IP addresses and network components and everything that we're dealing with inside the firewall within the enterprise, and even outside the firewall, and we're tracking them.
