- [Instructor] The benefits of using Cloud SQL and Cloud Spanner. Now, what we're looking at right now is the Google Cloud SQL product page. And from the top, you'll notice these are some of the things we spoke about earlier in regards to features, but on the left-hand side, if you click on Use Cases, it's going to take you down to a very good architecture of showing you how you could separate your data management from your application using Cloud SQL. Now we're not going to dive too deep into Kubernetes or microservices in this course, but what I want you to notice is that when you seeing the end user here on the left hand side go through a load balancer and it's taken them to an application, which is running in a Kubernetes pod, all that data, that whole database, is completely separated from that, and that's where you can use Cloud SQL, and that's exactly what they're doing in this diagram.
