There are options in Data Studio that make it simple to collaborate and share. In this video, learn how to automate sending reports, optimize dashboards for presentations, and create device-friendly visuals.
- [Instructor] After building and refining a dashboard, … the next step would be to share it and in Data Studio, … there are ways that make it simple to collaborate … and manage who can see a report … and most importantly your data. … One way is to download it as a static PDF … and it mostly retains the look of the report … and still communicates the data, … but you do lose a lot since interactivity is gone … from things like drop-downs, … as well as drill down dimensions … and visual items that are controls for the report, … but to export it as a PDF … you'll go to the share option and click this drop-down here … and this download report option is the one … to export the PDF. … Since PDFs do have that limitation with interactivity … and you may be asked for PDFs a lot or need one on your own, … I recommend going to additional options … and using the checkbox to add a link back to the report. … So, even if people get this static PDF, … they'll still have the opportunity … to click the link and interact with it in Data Studio. …
