- [Instructor] Here are some quick and easy ways to move or copy rows, columns, and groups of cells within a Google Sheets spreadsheet. Let's start by showing you how to move rows and columns. I'll use this solar panel chart sheet to show you how. You can follow along with the exercise file named moving in the exercise files chapter three folder. The quickest and easiest way to move rows or columns on a spreadsheet is just to click the row or column and drag and drop it to a new location. On my solar panel chart, I'll move column B so that it's the first column by clicking once on the gray column header with the letter label until my little cursor turns into a little hand. Then I can drag the column and drop it in the new location. Now my solar panel size column is the first column, column A. I can do the same with rows. If I want to move rows eight and nine down to the bottom, I'll click on the row headers, eight and nine,…
