- [Instructor] Google sheets shows you at a glance the sum, average, minimum, maximum and count of any spreadsheet cells you select. You can see these calculations on a range of selected adjacent or non-adjacent cells. First I'll show you how to see these calculations on a range of adjacent cells in a column. I'll use my sales spreadsheet. This file is called Calculations and you'll find it in the Exercise files, chapter 6 folder. Start by highlighting the cells of data that you'd like to total. You can select up to a thousand cells. I will click and drag to select all the cells containing data in the price column. While these cells are selected, now when I look down in the lower right-hand corner of the spreadsheet, to the left of the Explore button. I see a little notification that wasn't there before. It reads Sum, $941 and 32 cents. This is showing me that the sum of the cells I selected is equal to the dollar amount.…
