- [Trainer] With any business to attract sales leads, if it's not in the CRM, it just didn't happen. As a marketer working with sales, hidden fields can help you get credit for the leads that you drive. So for example, if you save users to this landing page and then they scroll down and filled in this form, how would you know where they came from? Well, you have utm_source in the URL and that's what Google Analytics reads from but how do you get that data into the CRM when the user submits the form? So first you need to create a hidden form field. You can see this is my website builder called Webflow and if I click into the form, I can see there are different fields that are hidden from the user. One of them is source. If I click into Source and I click Display, you can see it's just another form field that shows here but it's hidden, right?
