Morphing into overlapping objects
- I recently came across an article on the 10 must-have superpowers, and surprising to me was x-ray vision came in third, just behind invisibility and mind control. As a designer, there are times I could've put the first two to use for sure, but the third can be your gift to the public. The primary reason for the use of transparency in design, is to create the illusion of x-ray eyes. Give the consumer that ability to inspect and evaluate with clarity, and uncloak apprehension. We're an open book with nothing to hide. Probably the simplest and most direct transparent design comes from the basic overlap, like layering colored panes one on top of the other. Let's use this sun as our inspiration mark, and as our evolutionary process, we'll rely on fusion with these speech bubbles. I like the clarity of the model line sun, and merging the two gives me a mark that also has a pretty sunny, but uncomplicated attitude. Note that this group of marks all lay flat.
