Welcome, I have my Exercise file opened already, in the last couple of videos we were looking at the NGon plugin for grasshopper, specifically the reciprocal structure capability. In this video I want to look at another hidden gem within the NGon plugin. Conformal mapping. So I'm going to grab two components, first, boundary first flattening, This is an NGon component and the second is, called map mesh. And one trick if you want to see where these components are, if you click on it and you hold down control alt and click, it'll show you the grasshopper interface, it will show you where that component, is buried within the toolbars. So I'm going to use these two components, this will create a 2D representation of the 3D mesh, flattening it. And then this will allow me to map stuff from the 2D mesh onto the 3D mesh.
