- [Instructor] Welcome, I have my exercise file open already. In this video we're going to be looking at the anemone plugin, this is one of a few different plugins that allow you to add looping within Grasshopper. I'm using anemone version 0.4 which is the most recent version as of this recording. So what's the point of looping? Well Grasshopper allows you to link together components, each of which is doing some sort of function, converting data, transforming things, and all of these things connected together becomes a directed graph, meaning the output on the right side can be fed back into the input on the left hand side. It can only run in one direction and if you try to add a loop, let's say we create a curve from these points, we feed that back into this curve component, we get an error, right? And Grasshopper will tell us, cyclical data stream detected and we have a recursive param, so we're not allowed to…
