Anenome: Custom convex

Anenome: Custom convex

- [Instructor] Welcome. I have my exercise file open already. In the last video we were looking at the Anemone plug-in and its ability to add loops within the directory graph of Grasshopper. Specifically, we created a convex hole function that wraps a cloud of points in a curve. In this video we're going to look at how we can use that custom convex hole function to do some things that a traditional convex hole doesn't do. Specifically, we're going to pull that convex hole into these indentations in our point cloud. In the script, you can see I've added a bounding box. And I'm using the bounding box to get a value that's proportionate to the size of the point cloud. So here it's going to be .3 of the shorter of the two edges, x and y. So this value will change based on the size of the point cloud. And I'm going to use this value to say I'm only going to check as I march around my point cloud. Let me clear my convex hole.…
