- [Instructor] Once you have determined the input and output requirements and planned the data transformation through your script, you can start implementing those transformations. The first step is selecting the components, the components that provide the data transformations you need. When you're building something new, it's likely you do not know exactly what components you need. So, in this video we will walk through some strategies for finding and testing available components to find matches to your data transformations. I have my exercise file open already in Grasshopper with the inputs, outputs, and outline already added. And if we look at the outline, it gives us a sense of what types of components we need. First, we need to get the mesh output from Kangaroo. We need to isolate a specific part of the output that's generated by the Kangaroo solver.
