- Welcome. In this video we're going to look at the flexHopper plugin for grasshopper. Most people are familiar with kangaroo as the primary physics simulator built into grasshopper. FlexHopper is an alternative to that, that focuses more on particle physics. The NVidia Flex physics engine, enabling it to provide really high performance simulating these complicated objects. So you can see so many things like fabrics and a lot of stuff with particles like gases and fluids and that's what we're going to focus on. As with most plugins for grasshopper, you want to log in to food4Rhino. The latest version as of today is 1.1.2. And when you download this you want to make sure you unblock the files before adding to your components folder. So I have my exercise file open here.
