- [Instructor] Third party plug-ins provide a powerful way to extend the potent prototyping capabilities of Rhino and Grasshoper. In this video, we'll test out a simple form-finding prototype using Kangaroo physics. See how it can be to quickly assess and quantitatively compare different configurations, or sets of input. Exercise file, which I have already open in Grasshopper. I prefer to work with icons visible on components, so they look like the list of components in the tabs at the top of the Grasshopper screen. I'll turn the icons on by going to display, draw icons. The core of every Kangaroo prototype is the physics solver, which actually runs the simulation. The critical inputs to the solver are the goal objects, which are the springs, or forces acting on the model, the reset button, which returns the simulation to its original state, and the on/off toggle which turns the simulation on and off.
