How to analyze vectors in Grasshopper

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll look at some tools in grasshopper for analyzing and illustrating our three main vector properties, magnitude, direction and sense. First, we'll talk about magnitude. Now we worked on this example file in another video and we made a vector that we can see here. And am illustrating that with the vector display component, am using a vector X, Y, Z component, to make the end point of that vector. And that happens to have a length output already built into it, which shows us the magnitude of that vector. Now, not every vector component has a length output. So if we ever need to measure the length of the magnitude of a vector, we can do that with the vector length component. And we'll find that under the vector component tab in the vector sub menu all the way down at the bottom here. So that just takes a vector as its input and outputs the length.
