How to filter list data with the List Item component in Grasshopper
- [Instructor] In this video, we'll talk about how to filter list data in Grasshopper with the list item component. So let's locate it under the sets component tab in the list subset. List item retrieves one item from a list specified by its index. So in my example file here, my goal is to pick one curve from a list and extrude it. Let's work in the perspective view in Rhino. I'll just double click to maximize that and zoom in a tiny bit with my middle mouse wheel. And let's walk through what we've got in Grasshopper. First off, I have a geometry parameter, and that's holding a list of these four polygonal curves that I can see in Rhino. So plug that into this panel component here in Grasshopper and I can see each curve has an index. And we'll be using the list item component to sort through that list and pick out one element at a time to pass on to this extrusion component. Now before we get to the extrusion, let's…
