How to generate freeform surfaces in Grasshopper

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll explore some basic freeform NURBS surface components in grasshopper. These can be found under the surface component tab in the freeform subset. First we'll look at edge surface. This component creates a surface from between two and four edge curves. I'll go ahead and right-click to enable preview here. And I can see what I've got flowing into this component is a list of four curves. Right now they're all set in this curve parameter, and then I'm just using this explode tree component to pop each one out into its own output. And you can see the resulting surface here. Now, this particular set of edge curves happened to meet up right at their end points, so they're butting right up against one another. But edge surface can also work with curves that don't actually touch. So let's see what that looks like with this set here. I'm right-clicking on my curve parameter, and we'll set…
