How to make custom explicit math functions in Grasshopper

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll look at two methods for using our own custom explicit math functions in a Grasshopper definition, the Evaluate component and the Expression component. These are both located in the maths component tab, under script. And my goal here is to work with a very simple formula to generate a parabolic curve. I've got the starting points of that goal set up here already in the exercise file. So I'm starting with a Range component to generate a series of numbers. And this is very similar to the Range component setup that we covered in another video. The one difference is that I'm using this Construct Domain component to be able to generate a range that goes into negative and positive territories rather than the default of starting the range at zero and going up to a positive maximum.
